Description
The Cape Wheel, also known as the Hisense Wheel of Excellence, is an enormous observation wheel that offers a magnificent 360Ëš view of Cape Town from its setting within the V&A Waterfront. Landmarks to be seen from the wheel include Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape Town city skyline, Paarl Mountains, and the Cape Town stadium. Climb aboard one of 30 enclosed air-conditioned cabins that will spin you 40m above the ground at a leisurely pace, perfect for pictures. The ride lasts approximately 12 – 15 minutes. Two wheelchair friendly cabins are available.
