Description
The Zabalaza Theatre Festival at the Baxter Theatre Centre in Rondebosch is an annual March showcase that nurtures emerging Western Cape theatre talent through workshops, mentorship, script readings, and community performances. Over a week-long main event, about 50 new works—often in indigenous languages—are presented across Baxter venues, with many productions supported by seasoned mentors and ticket sales benefiting the artists.
