1 On Joyce is a charming garden cottage located on the owner’s property in Franskraal, just 300 m from the main beach. With its private entrance, this cosy cottage offers the perfect seaside retreat for couples seeking a relaxing getaway.

The cottage accommodates 2 guests and features a bedroom with a three-quarter bed. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Quality linen is provided; however, guests are asked to bring their own bath and beach towels.

The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, gas oven, microwave, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Electricity is prepaid, vouchers can be purchased via your banking app. Adjacent to the kitchen, is a cosy lounge area with beautiful views of the Franskraal mountain. The lounge is furnished with a comfortable L-shaped couch and includes a built-in braai. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available.

Outside, the cottage has a private patio with outdoor furniture, perfect for dining alfresco and enjoying the fresh sea breeze. Off-street parking is available. Although the cottage is situated on the owner's property, complete privacy is assured.

This part of the Western Cape’s coastline is rugged and raw, with excellent fishing, and shark cage diving, as well as stunning opportunities for scuba divers and snorkelers who want to see the colourful abundance of fauna and flora under the ocean’s surface. The beaches are inviting, perhaps even irresistible, for their long sandy stretches and good swimming.
