76 Waterkant Street is a 4-bedroom cottage that has been extensively renovated into a modern contemporary property.
The large, open-plan ground floor is air-conditioned with wooden floors and, in warm periods, can be enlarged by sliding back the glass doors and enjoying the private sunny terrace. The whole area consists of a living-, dining- and kitchen space with luxurious suede sofas, modern kitchen and African chic decor dominated by an open fireplace.
Steps lead you up and down to the 2 identical air-conditioned bedrooms which can be made up as a twin room or king room and have en-suite bathrooms with showers that can look out onto the patio areas. The lower of the 2 has direct access to a second private courtyard.
As an extra service, and separate to the accommodation rate, this cottage does have free Wi-Fi. This property is serviced twice weekly on weekdays, excluding public holidays.
De Waterkant Village is close to all the major Cape Town attractions. You can either explore on foot and walk to the V&A Waterfront, Green Market Square and CTICC. A short taxi ride away you can visit Table Mountain, Camps Bay and then the Winelands. As a point of reference, The Village Cafe is right next door to the reception, great breakfast spot, and Cape Quarter is the closest shopping centre which is only a 3-minute walk away.
