SANPARK Entry fees are charged additionally per person per day on arrival.

Bring comfortable light clothing, walking shoes, sun hats, and sunscreen, plus a swimsuit in summer and warm clothing, including a scarf and beanie for winter.

Binoculars, cameras, and bird books will be handy.

The Lodge Wi-Fi is accessible in all common areas free of charge.

Rates are inclusive of VAT @ 15%. VAT increases to 15.5% from 01 May 2025.

B&B Basis: Includes accommodation and breakfast per night’s stay.

DBB Basis: Includes accommodation, dinner and breakfast per night’s stay.

Items not mentioned in your rate will be charged for in addition.

SANParks Conservation Levies apply; please obtain the levies from the SANParks website.

All drinks and items of a personal nature

All meals were not included in your daily rate.

Additional guided game drives / Bush walks

Items not included in your quotation will be charged in addition. Inclusive of but not limited to beverages, telephone calls, room service, activities, laundry, etc.

Additional costs need to be settled at the property prior to departure.

SANParks gates close at 17:30 to 18:00, depending on the season.

For guests who are aware of their late arrival in advance, permits need to be requested from the Protection Service Office, between 08:00 to 17:00 or during office hours. If it is after office hours, you will need to get permission from the Head Ranger.

Guests can only be escorted between 18:00 – 20:00 with a registered Kudu head vehicle; after 20:00, this has to be done by the Rangers.

KNP Rangers charge a fee per vehicle, and cash to the ranger for any escort service provided.

Standard room - maximum of 2 people on a queen or twin setup

Skukuza Safari Lodge does offer interleading rooms. Interleading rooms are made up of 2 standard rooms with an inter-leading door. Each standard room has a maximum capacity of 2 pax. Children aged 2 to 11 will occupy their own bed and will be charged 50% of the adult sharing rate.

Suites - maximum of 4 people on 2 separate queen-size beds in the same bedroom.

No Children under the age of 6 years are allowed on game drives unless an exclusive drive is booked and arranged, and approved with SANP.

No Children under the age of 12 years are allowed on Bush Braai’s.

Please be aware that access to Skukuza Safari Lodge is subject to SANParks’ gate entry times into the Kruger National Park. We kindly ask that you take note of the seasonal gate closure times for Paul Kruger Gate and ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the gate closes.

Gate times vary throughout the year, so it’s essential to check the correct schedule for your month of travel. For added peace of mind, we recommend contacting the Lodge directly to confirm the applicable gate closing time for your arrival date.

If you are entering the Park through a gate other than Paul Kruger Gate, please allow sufficient travel time to reach the Lodge before closing time.

SANParks strictly enforces gate closure times. If you arrive after the gate has closed or do not have adequate time to travel to the Lodge, you will not be permitted entry. In such cases, you will need to secure alternative accommodation outside the Park at your own cost.

Cancellation Policy - Custom
