Description
Aloha 19 is an 8-bedroom, 8-bathroom luxury beach house situated directly on the beach in Ponta Mamoli, Mozambique. This beachfront property is privately positioned and offers sea views from every room, with the beach just a five-minute walk away.
The property comprises five buildings, including one central building containing the kitchen, TV lounge, and dining area, and four pods each housing two bedrooms. All bedrooms are en suite. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a queen-size bed and is air-conditioned. Bedroom 2 has three single beds that can be pushed together (but not converted) to form a king-size bed, plus one additional single bed; this room features ceiling fans but no air-conditioning. These two bedrooms have an interleading door for groups with children or can be locked to create two private bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private entrance directly from the deck. In total, the house accommodates 20 guests comfortably.
All bedrooms are furnished with bedside tables, lamps, ceiling fans, and en suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided. The swimming pool has no child safety net, and a separate WC is available near the pool.
The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, lounge, and dining space. The lounge features a TV (without DSTV), but guests can stream via the Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a 4-plate gas hob, oven, microwave, Nespresso machine with milk frother, crockery and cutlery for 20 people, a walk-in cold room, an upright freezer, and a washing machine. A large dining table accommodates all guests. A water filter is provided at the kitchen prep bowl for drinking water, while water in the bedrooms is safe for brushing teeth but not for consumption.
Free Wi-Fi is available, and guests can request the password from staff. Cleaning materials and black bags are provided, and laundry can be done by the staff upon request.
The property features built-in braai facilities, with charcoal and wood available for sale on-site. Angelina, the housekeeper, is responsible for cleaning, washing dishes, making beds, and general upkeep; she does not cook.
A five-minute walk along the beach leads to Frederico’s renowned snorkeling spot. Guests are encouraged to bring their snorkeling gear to enjoy the experience.
