AmaKhosi Safari Lodge is nestled on the banks of the Mkuze river in the Amakhosi Private Game Reserve in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal. The natural blend of river wetlands and valley bushland, with the umbrella thorn trees in the north, open grassland in the south, the thick bush grassland blanketing the mountains in the west and wild game roaming free, makes this a concealed unscathed paradise worthwhile to explore.
Accommodation comprises a private villa, 6 luxurious river suites, and 2 honeymoon suites. Each unit is air-conditioned and other in-room amenities include a safe, bathrobes, a fully stocked mini bar, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The lodge comprises a seductive turquoise swimming pool, carefully designed dining room, lounge, TV with selected DStv channels, library, curio shop, conference facilities, and central communication centre.
At the Amakhosi River Spa, guests can indulge each of their senses, by soaking up panoramic views of the Mkuze River, and relaxing with the sounds of the surrounding bush.
