Anvil Stud Cottages is situated in Alverstone and is ideal for families, couples and individuals who appreciate beautiful views and are looking for a safe and private place to stay. The cottages are perfect for people participating in the numerous sports and equestrian events like the Comrades Marathon and Gymkhanas that take place in the region.

The accommodation consists of 8 open-plan rooms which can accommodate 2 guests in each. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, 2 of which have a bath and a shower, and the rest have showers only. Room 1 - 6 have kitchenettes with a fridge, stove, microwave, and tea- and coffee- making facilities. Room 7 and 8 each have a fully equipped kitchen. Each room has braai facilities.

Alverstone is in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal's horse world and very close to both the N3 and the M13 freeways, both of which give clear access to Durban and Pietermaritzburg. Anvil Stud Cottages are on route to the Valley of 1000 Hills where a Zulu Village and Zulu dancing can be seen. It is a stone’s throw from Kearsney College, Highbury Primary School, Shongweni Club and Busamed Private Hospital.
