Drakensberg Bush Lodge and Backpackers offers rustic guest rooms and is located on a working farm, situated approximately 7 km from Winterton. The establishment is ideal as a base from which to explore the area's attractions.

The accommodation offers a range of backpackers, self-catering units, a family cottage and a guest house. The 8 backpacker dorm rooms each have a tri-bunk bed; 1 double bed at the bottom and 1 single bed on top for a person under 75 kgs, as well as a separate single bed for a child. The 2 smaller combined self-catering units sleep 2 adults in each and comprise a king bed or twin beds.

The family cottage comprises 2 bedrooms with twin beds in each and the guest house comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate a total of 8 adults and 2 children.

The owners' swimming pool is available to guests on hot summer days.
