Totally amazed by the vibe and decor, the quietness and the nature. The cottage is off the beaten track, which is part of the charm as it offers total privacy. The decor is rustic and welcoming. The amount of lanterns makes the magic at night; it feels like part of a fairytale. A nice touch was the home-baked rusks and fresh milk in the fridge. We will be back with family as that place is magical. The pictures are accurate but do not give the vibe of the cottage, which is something really special.

Heerlike wegkom met 'n ouwereld atmosfeer. Baie lekker gebly. Huisie is atmosferies, baie goed ingerig en als werk maklik. Die omgewing is rustig, baie mooi en 'n mens voel afgesonder.

A wonderful relaxing weekend without the distractions. Wonderfully peaceful and tranquil. A welcome break from the fast rat race.

Calm and peaceful. Isolated cabin on a working farm. Paraffin lamps throughout, need to get used to the smell of paraffin when staying there.

Rustic and Wet. Unfortunately, the weather was very wet and miserable and so we could not make use of the lovely large verandah. Three adults and two dogs and a fire in the living area were very tight. However, we had a stunning walk up the mountain with lots of lovely fynbos. Plenty of cutlery and crockery including a gas toaster! The donkey boiler worked well once we fired it up and the hostess very thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine, fresh farm milk, plenty of wood and some really good rusks.

Peaceful, with spectacular views. The perfect hideaway where batteries can be recharged and nature enjoyed.

The perfect escape for a long weekend getaway! A great spot to escape to with your furkids - ours had a ball exploring (safely)!

'n "Digital Detox" 'n Heerlike wegbreek van die alledaagse gejaag en luukshede op 'n pragtige plaas. Die skoon en goed ingerigte huisie het ons sommer dadelik laat tuis voel en ons het die rustigheid van die natuur baie geniet.

Restful and peaceful. A wonderful place to just unwind and relax. Enjoyed the remoteness and having on electricity, having to heat water with a donkie and the fresh farm milk. The dogs loved the openness just to be able to run. The walks are amazing! Definitely be returning!
