Loved the old farmhouse design. It was peaceful with the animals around. Lovely place, very peaceful when the sun goes down. Loved the indoor braai area that protected us from strong winds. The outdoor splash pool was a hit as it was hot during the day. The gas geyser tends to disengage quite easily, especially when it is quite windy outside. Hunting lodge, silence & nature. We had a great stay and made full use of the outdoor braai room in the cold weather. I would suggest taking extra lights with you, because it is very dark and the lights in the cottage are not very bright. Water buffalo and a goat entertained us early in the morning on the lawn right in front of the cottage. Child and dog really enjoyed the large spacious lawn.
