Beautiful place to stay, friendly staff and exceptional customer service. Our stay was exceptionally enjoyable, the host upgraded our sleeper as there was an error as we requested a self-catering chalet; however, the one booked for us was not. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. Improvements: We saw a huge rat in the bar next to the kitchen, which made us question the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food being prepared. We do understand this is a game reserve; however, the kitchen should be spotless and necessary pest control in place. The road leading up to the lodge was not the best and won't recommend small motor vehicles, SUV, bakkie or larger.
