House Rules

The room is serviced free of charge once a week. Additional cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost.

Laundry service is available at an additional cost. Guests will be provided with a laundry basket to fill, and the laundry will be returned cleaned and ironed. Ironing can also be arranged upon request.

Colourful towels are provided for the beach or pool, while white towels are for bathroom use only.

There is an outside hot water shower to the left of the house for rinsing off sand or feet after the beach.

A wall heater is installed in the room for overnight use, and an additional electric blow heater is available to warm the room during colder months.

The kitchenette is stocked with initial consumables until guests can visit the supermarket. Tap water is drinkable.

When the dustbin is full, guests should deposit bags in the designated bins to the right of the house.

Solar panels and inverters supply power, but during severe weather or extended load shedding, short power outages may occur. Guests will be informed if this happens.

Guests are expected to respect neighbours and other guests, especially in shared areas such as the patio and pool.

No loud music is allowed after 22:00.

The pedestrian gate remains open until approximately 17:00. Late arrivals can enter using the gate control or by ringing the bell.

A night light is left on in the open area for late arrivals. Guests must ensure the entrance door is locked when exiting.

Other rooms and the downstairs area are strictly no-entry zones.

A pull-out washing line is available downstairs to the right of the house, and a small clothes horse is provided in the room for drying towels or clothes.

Games, puzzles, information pamphlets, and books are available for guest use and should be returned before departure.

Guests may braai using the small Weber grill on the balcony.

Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms; it is allowed only on the patio where ashtrays are provided.

Guests are encouraged to sign the guestbook.

Parking on the pavement outside is only necessary if the vehicle is larger than average.

Guests stay entirely at their own risk. The owners accept no liability for any injuries, losses, accidents, or damage incurred during the stay.
