The perfect place to unwind, reset and enjoy complete comfort. My parents and I absolutely loved our stay at Camelopardalis Bush Retreat. It is a beautiful and modern space, immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed for total relaxation. The peaceful environment helped all of us reset and recharge. The check-in process was seamless and communication from the host was excellent. We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. This retreat is a hidden gem and absolutely worth experiencing.

Lekker gesin vakansie. Ons het die verblyf baie geniet en dit was relatief goed toeganklik vir 'n rolstoelgebruiker. Langs die huis is daar ’n sementpaadjie, maar om op die oprit (ramp) te kom, moes ons oor los klippies beweeg. Ons het ’n klein matjie saamgebring wat dit baie vergemaklik. Die hoofslaapkamer se badkamer is bruikbaar om in te stort, alhoewel die toilette nie gryprelings het nie. Die fire pit, buite stoep, swembad, die huis self, en selfs die plek waar die diere gevoer word, is alles op dieselfde vlak en maklik toeganklik met 'n rolstoel. Ons het nie die lugversorgers gebruik nie aangesien die weer dit nie nodig gemaak het nie. Die bestaande krag-eenhede was voldoende vir ons gebruik en ons het nie ekstra hoef aan te koop nie. Daar was volop wild rondom die huis wat kom kuier het, en ons kon selfs die seekoeie en leeus hoor vanaf die Wildtuin se kant – ’n baie spesiale ervaring. Ons sal beslis weer hier wil bly!

Goeie dag, baie dankie vir die deel van die behuising se toebehore ens. Julle is welkom enige tyd. Dit is 'n baie lekker huis en daar is regtig baie diere. Bos groete.

Enjoyable. Our stay at the accommodation was pleasant overall, but there are a few improvements that could enhance the guest experience: having a washing machine available would be particularly helpful, especially for those travelling with a baby. The night before our departure, we ran out of electricity units, which was challenging, especially with a 7-month-old in tow.

Ontspannend, in die bos tussen die diere daar waar jou siel kan rus. Het die swembad en boma baie geniet. Dit sal baie help as daar 'n wasmasjien is. En die kussings is vreeslik hard. Daar kort snackbakkies vir buite. Verder is alles baie netjies en gerieflik ingerig.

Unpleasant. Front stagger door is falling out of its frame, bathroom door gets stuck all the time, electricity trips all the time, no units are loaded for air conditioning unless you ask for it and then only enough is provided for one day.

Good day Joop. We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. We did, however, act by dispatching our maintenance team who attended to the issues as soon as the following morning. The stacker door did not fall out of the frame, it was just somewhat hard to open and was rectified. The barn door slipped off the rail and was also fixed by our team. There was an electrical trip as the fridge’s compressor unfortunately gave up on the day of your arrival. This issue has been attended to as well. With regards to the air-con units, it was stated that we do have a prepaid loading system for air-conditioning prior to arrival. All information and the app details are provided in our welcome letter. There is a full security beam running across the veranda with passives in every room and the living area, as well as a panic alarm that is connected to the security company that acts immediately in cases of emergency. Perhaps you can share thoughts as to how we can improve the security? The house is situated just over 1 km from the river on an over stand with plenty of trees, away from neighbours. We do apologise that this had to happen during your stay and thank you very much for your feedback, we truly appreciate it.
