Chartfield Guesthouse is nestled in this quaint seaside village, Kalk Bay, overlooking the picturesque Kalk Bay harbour.

Accommodation is provided in 4 different room types from which guests can choose. The Loft has its own private balcony with sea-, mountain- and harbour view. There are 4 sea-facing Deluxe rooms and 11 beautiful Standard rooms. The Family unit is also available and is located in the house next door to the guesthouse.

All the rooms are furnished with a king-size bed, which can be converted into 2 single beds. The Single Basic Tiny Room is the only room that is furnished with a small double bed. Each room features bathrooms that are fitted with showers, basins and toilets. Other facilities include a safe, a hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi connection. All rooms, besides the Tiny Single Basic Room have Android TV's and guests can access their own streaming accounts. Room service is offered daily.

The guest house has 2 conference rooms with modern facilities for up to 25 delegates. Conferences can be held inside, or for smaller groups, the sea-viewing terrace is a lovely place to have a meeting during summertime.

Kalk Bay and the surrounding area offer a wide variety of activities. Being the perfect start for the peninsula tour including Boulders Beach, Cape Point and Chapmans Peak Drive and close to the Constantia Winelands, it has something for everyone.

Guests can enjoy walks along the ocean or hike up the mountains to watch the sunset. The guest house is only 30 km from Cape Town CBD. For the more adventurous guest, the area offers shark cage diving, parachuting or helicopter rides.
