A quiet getaway with family. We enjoyed the animal visits at the house! We had a great time! The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Air conditioning and swimming pool were a relief in the hot weather.

Magnificent week spent at Cheetah Plateau. We can't wait to return. We enjoyed a wonderful week at Cheetah Plateau. The house is stunning, bright and modern. The facilities are first class, beds super comfortable, bathrooms magnificent and the outside firepit/boma area is ideal. We enjoyed animals visiting us throughout the days. Our only complaint was that our holiday was too short. We will be back!

Nicely rested and entertained. Had a great time and rested. Just had trouble with the toilet in the main bedroom which was broken. Park had power problems due to overload.

Fantastic. We were a group of five adults and a toddler family group. The house was exactly what we expected, we moved in without any hassle. The splash pool was sparkling clean and so were the linen and the rest of the house. The braai area is practical and well located so that the braai person doesn't miss any of the chatter around the patio table. The boma area is a winner, we brought outside cushions which made hanging out around the fire comfortable. The local wildebeest came by regularly and were immediately dubbed "Bertie" by our little man. Zebras, bushbuck, impala, warthog and kudu are so tame they come right up to the patio! The pack of mongooses that made their way through was at first worrisome but it soon became clear that they were also friendly and showed no aggression, but we still tried to avoid them for the most part. The Kruger's Crocodile Gate is less than a 20 minute drive away and is definitely a plus if you want to explore Kruger. The ice machine was an unexpected plus that was put to good use. The beds were comfortable and with the aircons it ensured that everyone could sleep peacefully. The garage that was available to us was also a big plus. The getaway was definitely worth the effort and money, we hope to visit again in the future. If I could make a recommendation, it would be for light summer blankets in addition to the feather duvets, and for a small safe to store goods and things while you explore the area.
