Pragtige rustige B&B op 'n plaas. Goeie mense en saligheid. Die pragtige huis is op 'n plaas net buite Aliwal-Noord. Ek is baie goed ontvang en die verblyf was perfek vir my doeleindes. Netjies, gerieflik en die gasheer is altyd bereid om te help.

Beautiful old house on a working farm. We were on our way to Durban, so this was an overnight stop for us. We arrived in the dark and left early. We would have liked to explore a bit more. The night was very cold. On the morning of 17 June, it was 1 degree. A beautiful old house with stunning sunset and sunrise.

Geskiedkundige skat omring deur natuurskoon. Ons het Conville se geskiedkundige aspekte en natuurskoon baie waardeer - regtig 'n opwindende en interessante ervaring. Ligging was ideaal en maklik om te vind en die gasheer was regtig gaaf en behulpsaam.

Old style ambience. For those interested in history, this is a fascinating place to overnight. The house was finished being built in 1908 and a lot of the furnishings are still original. The hostess was happy to share some of the history with us, which made it an interesting visit. We had our two Yorkies with us and the resident farm dogs were very friendly to us and to them. There is a lovely stoep to sit on and enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. The only slight niggle was that we couldn't get the WiFi to connect.

A most pleasant stay and highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay in this 100+ year old home. We were well received and the hostess was very friendly. An excellent and tasty breakfast!
