Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R500 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation or in any area where smoke may enter indoor spaces.

Lit cigarettes must never be left unattended.

Guests should avoid smoking near other guests, residents, or staff unless in their company.

From May to September, smoking is not allowed outdoors when using communal facilities.

Fires are only permitted in designated areas; open flames elsewhere are strictly prohibited.

In the event of a fire, guests must act swiftly to extinguish it. If unsuccessful, the owner of 10onBrightside must be notified immediately. All guests are advised to familiarise themselves with the locations of fire extinguishers.

Stoves may only be used by adults and must never be left unattended. They must be switched off when not in use.

Littering is not allowed. Guests must restore picnic areas to their natural condition after use.

Flora and fauna may not be disturbed or removed.

Driving on the runway is strictly forbidden.

Fishing is allowed on a catch-and-release basis only, with care taken not to harm the fish.

Poaching is prohibited. No animals may be caught or harmed. Guests requiring assistance should contact the owner of 10onBrightside.

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times, including at the swimming pool and dam.

Boats and other equipment must be stored properly, upside down and out of the water after use.

Entry into private properties or outbuildings without permission is not allowed.

The estate entrance gate must be closed securely when leaving. Guests may only open the gate for others if accompanying them.

A maximum speed limit of 30 km/h applies throughout the estate. No speeding is allowed.

Noise must be kept to a minimum. Loud music is not permitted, and all music must stop by 22:00.
Conversations should remain at a respectful volume.

Parties are not permitted, and gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people.

Guests must respect the privacy of neighbouring residents at all times.

Bathroom towels are for indoor use only and may not be used for swimming.

Bedding must remain inside the accommodation.

Guests are responsible for any missing or damaged items. The inventory list should be checked upon arrival, and any missing items reported immediately. An inventory check will be conducted after departure. Breakages and damages must be reported to the owner.

TV and DStv remotes must remain inside the premises.

Gaming consoles may not be connected to the TV, as this will interfere with DStv channels.
