Old but gold. Spent 2 nights in 8 Bells. Had a family room with a separate bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. This is not a venue for the trendy types. After all, it has a billiard room and a dart board (fantastic). Food is staple stuff, all fine, nothing fancy. The grounds and surrounds are fabulous. Go for the views and the welcome of an old-fashioned holiday hotel.

Fantastic, superb, enjoyable and very relaxing. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming was superb. Staff are very friendly and engaging. Fantastic well-manicured gardens - bird lovers' paradise. The country feel the horses in the paddock give you is calming. Fantastic facilities which cater for all. Accommodation, breakfast and dining were delicious and very well prepared and presented.

Relaxing, welcoming and comfortable weekend. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Excellent staff - always friendly and willing to help. Very extensive menu and meals were well presented and of high quality. Beautiful setting.

Very pleasant indeed. Lovely environment. We thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the cabin at the top of about 10 steep steps was a problem for retired people in their eighties.

We had a wonderful stay at Eight Bells Mountain Inn. Relaxed and rejuvenated. We had problems with the shower in the rooms we were originally booked into, but we received excellent service and they changed our rooms the next day. The new rooms were much better. The rooms we were originally booked into need to be upgraded though. The views were stunning, and there is quite a lot to do at the inn: bowls, squash, tennis, table tennis, billiards, board games, and a library, so lots to keep ourselves busy even with 3 days of rain. Our breakfast was good, and they attended to our special halal needs. Supper was a bit of a problem due to our special halal requirements; we didn't have much to choose from during our 7-day stay, but the staff was very accommodating to all our needs. We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. However, due to our special needs, we would have loved a mini kitchen with a microwave and a mini fridge to make some of our own meals. The only thing missing for us. The WiFi was really very bad, and something really needs to be done about it.

Baie dankie dat u by ons kom bly het en dat u die tydjie hier so geniet het. As gevolg van baie slegte weer Sondag, was ons hele area se krag af tussen 11:30 en 17:30. Ongelukkig beteken dit dat die Telkom stasie waar ons data en Internet vandaan kom ook af was. Ons is baie jammer dat u nie vir daardie tydperk enige Internet toegang gehad het nie. Ons sien uit na u volgende besoek.

Baie aangename verblyf wat ek vir enigeen kan aanbeveel. Een van die hoogtepunte van my vakansie. Die personeel is baie vriendelik en professioneel, die ete deftig en lekker. Die kamers/hutjies netjies en skoon. Dan is daar natuurlik baie lekker staproetes om te volg. Sal beslis weer gaan. Kan net nie te lank bly, want dan sal jy jou sak moet skud.
