House Rules
The property is accessed via a gravel road. Guests are required to confirm the road's condition with the establishment before booking. A 4x4 vehicle is not necessary, but a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.
No loud music or shouting. Campers must respect others and neighbouring properties.
Electricity is supplied via a solar system. Guests must bring their own power solutions for fridges and freezers.
The speed limit from the first gate is 30 kilometres per hour.
Off-roading or driving around the estate is not permitted.
Cutting trees, breaking branches, or picking fynbos is not allowed. Braai wood is available for cash purchase.
Children using the swimming area must wear water wings.
Camping and swimming are at guests’ own risk.
No day visitors are permitted.
Hunting, shooting, or harming wildlife is strictly prohibited.
Guests must not litter or dispose of foreign objects in the toilets.
Lights must be switched off before retiring for the night.
Fires and braais must be fully extinguished after use. Open flames and hot coals must not be left unattended.
Wildlife such as tortoises, bushbuck, and birds roam freely and must be treated with care.
Snakes may be present in summer. The most common species is the harmless mole snake. Guests should keep a safe distance.
The resident pet ostrich, Queeni, may occasionally approach the campsite.
Fishing in the dam is strictly prohibited.
