I had a fabulous time at Flight of the Eagle. Unfortunately, there is not a ten star because that's how I would rate my stay at Flight of the Eagle. It was definitely worth every penny! I would definitely recommend family getaways at Flight of the Eagle. Everything was on point from furniture to cooking utensils. I really had a nice stay. Elize was very helpful and also called to check on me and recommended a few things to do with the kids. The nature and views were everything, and the kids also enjoyed themselves.

As stilte en rus is waarna jy soek, is die roep van die visarend gereed. Was een van die beste rus en vrede wat ons beleef het. 'n Huis weg van die huis met alles wat jy sal nodig kry.

But for all the excessive rules and extreme penalties, we had a comfortable stay. Very comfortable unit. Has everything you need. Loved the animals roaming the property. The many rules and list of penalties sent prior to our visit and also pasted around the house do take away a bit of the charm, and it makes it a wee bit more difficult to fully relax. Never seen this in any other place we've stayed before. Some reasons to hold back the deposit would be if you leave a light on, dirty dishes in the sink R500. For this reason only, we would not make use of this venue again, but if you are able to ignore this, you will not be disappointed with the facilities and beautiful location.

Thank you for the review and we take cognisance of your input. Unfortunately, as stated in the documents sent out prior to the stay, we know it's a mouthful of info, or rather possibly overload. We do, however, live in a country that has many challenges; hence your safety and our attempt to cover ourselves as owners of a property worth a couple of million makes it a necessity. We are sorry that you felt that was a put-off for your stay. Our objective is to prepare our guests as much as possible for their stay and we have tried to make the house as inviting and comfortable as possible. The luxury amenities, in comparison to many other facilities offered, are what we attempt to secure for all future guests; the intent is not to put our guests off - thank you! Relaxing and comfortable stay amongst the animals. Highly recommended. The house is beautifully furnished and comfortable. Well equipped and has everything one needs for self-catering. Owners are very welcoming and helpful. I hope this criticism is accepted as being constructive as it in no way detracts from the comfortable stay. 1. Two more chairs on the patio and under the gazebo. 2. We found the patio and bathroom floors become slippery when wet.

Many thanks for the review, Patrick. We take note of your input and appreciate it. I will comment on your constructive criticism as follows; 1. Although there are two black chairs left outside under the gazebo, there are four more chairs that can be moved outside for the comfort of our guests. The only reason they are left inside is that they are made of material that will be damaged in possible rain, and naturally, the baboons tend to mess on the material when they come around. This makes it difficult for the housekeeper to keep it clean for the next guests to use. You were most welcome to use it outside; it is not heavy and can be taken in and out with ease. Please consider that next time you book. 2. The warning about the patio being slippery when wet is clearly indicated in the documentation sent out long before the visit. We are nonetheless looking into material to eliminate that problem. Screeded floors are beautiful; however, they do have their challenges. That goes for the bathroom as well. Please help me understand the reason for giving the location a 3 rating - the house is merely 50 steps from the Crocodile River and the Kruger fence, which I think is also clearly mentioned in the marketing. Baie aangenaam. Die huis is mooi en gerieflik en alles het gewerk. Ons het 'n paar uitdagings gehad met ESKOM krag, maar met die hulp van Johan en Elize kon ons dit vinnig en effektief uitsorteer. Daar is daagliks baie diere wat na die huis kom en my kleindogters (8 en 4) het hulle en die 'voer' van die diere baie geniet. Ek sal Flight of the Eagle @ Kruger enige tyd aanbeveel en sal definitief weer van hulle dienste gebruikmaak.

Heerlik gekuier by hierdie pragtige plekkie. Sal weer in die toekoms gaan. Ons het baie lekker gekuier. Die plekkie is pragtig, mooi, netjies en skoon. Alles wat mens benodig, is daar. Ons het heelwat diere gesien en pallets gekoop om hulle te voer, dus was hulle heelwat kere daar om te kom eet. Baie verskillende voël spesies wat ook vroeg oggend kom kuier het. Die Bush Babies was die oulikste en die hoogtepunt; hulle het elke aand klokslag 18:00 gekom vir hul piesang, yoghurt en appel wat ons vir hulle uitgesit het. Ons het selfs die laaste aand 2 dikstert nagapies gesien wat 'n bonus was; ons het hulle nog nooit iewers te sien kry nie.

Pragplekkie in die natuur. Pragplekkie, volledig toegerus met volop diere besoekers en 24 uur kamera sekuriteit. Eienaars was baie hulpvaardig en ons het baie lekker gebly. Kan die huis met groot vrymoedigheid aanbeveel.
