'n Gerieflike vakansiehuis met die mooiste uitsig en al die "bells&whistles". Die huis bied alles wat jy nodig het by die see. Die gasgeysers sorg dat daar altyd warm water is as almal wil stort na 'n dag op die strand. Die waaiers in al die vertrekke maak die huis koel op warm dae. Die swembad en buite braaipit was 'n luuksheid en heerlik vir 'n groot groep wat saam kuier. Die uitsig oor Estuary is beautiful, met 'n verskeidenheid voëls om te identifiseer. Belinda is 'n fantastiese gasvrou.

Maintenance issues aside, amazing house! Unfortunately, our stay here at Whale House was marred by maintenance issues. The shower in the outhouse was unusable as the pressure was non-existent and the water draining from all waste traps throughout the house was so slow that you ended up standing in a pool of water when showering. This also caused water to spill over onto the floor in the outhouse bathroom. One morning there was absolutely little to no pressure from any taps and water was not heating up sufficiently. One person managed to shower with little pressure, but there was also no hot water after. I managed to resolve this by changing the instant geyser setting; there was no guidance or instruction to check this even after notifying the host. The pictures on the advert for this house showed three fireplaces. Only the pit was usable for making fire. The fireplace on the patio was removed and replaced with a Weber, not as per pic. The indoor fireplace was out of order. The couches on the patio were soaked with water, so we could not sit there either. The upstairs toilet also ran continuously after flushing, and being a push button, it was difficult to stop. These issues aside, the house was amazing. I would stay here again in summer to get the full use of the facilities on offer; the host should just resolve the issues and update their pictures.

Enjoyable and relaxing. Lovely house, came for a 40th birthday and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Refreshing and relaxed. We had a good time and the host was always on the phone telling us of places we can go visit while we stay and that was awesome. This is a place I'll definitely go to again as this was a beautiful holiday house with everything you ever need.

Absolutely amazing. This place is worth every decision and so much more. We had the best time ever as a family and even loadshedding didn't get us down here. Will definitely recommend it to any big family as a vacation destination.

Ons was 'n groot groep en het ons tydjies verskriklik geniet. Belinda is 'n wonderlike gasvrou. Die huis het alle basiese benodigdhede. Die ruimte is wonderlik en alle kamers is uniek. Die huis lyk presies soos in die foto's. Ons sal definitief weer bespreek.

A perfect place for our vacation. Our Agent Rene was the best. They contacted us when they found something we left behind and were happy to arrange the return of it.

Lovely spacious house with everything you'll need. Really gives that holiday feel with the fire pit, swimming pool and view. We had a great stay and were sad to go home. Bookmarked this one for the future! Really appreciated the thought that was put in the small but important detail.

Our host Belinda was amazing! The house offered all we could wish for. Attention to detail, little extras, excellent mattresses on the beds, lovely environment. We did not need to leave the house as she catered for everything. We will definitely go again.

It was awesome! Belinda is the most awesome hostess and goes out of her way to please you and the house is a home from home and I would recommend it to anyone. It is beautiful and very comfortable.
