Gaia Glamping is nestled on the banks of the Breede River, just outside Swellendam, and offers a serene, off-grid glamping experience with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Langeberg mountain range. This peaceful riverside retreat is ideal for a romantic escape or a memorable family holiday.

The A-frame cabin is a charming open-plan space that can accommodate up to 4 guests. It features a queen-size bed located in the loft and 2 single sleeper couches on the ground floor. A private deck overlooks the river, offering guests a tranquil setting to unwind and take in the natural beauty. The compact kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, gas kettle, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, and braai utensils for convenient self-catering.

The unit is powered by solar energy, supporting lighting and basic device charging. A private compost toilet is located beside the cabin, while a shared ablution block with a hot shower and flushing toilet is just a short walk away. For added comfort in the colder months, a gas heater is provided. Eco-friendly bath towels, dish soap, a sponge, shower gel, and a tea and coffee starter pack are included. Guests also have access to a private braai area.

Communal facilities on the farm include a boma and a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with a gas cooker, washbasin, and central dining table, perfect for shared meals under the stars. The sanctuary offers a range of nature-based activities including peaceful walks, birdwatching, canoeing, fishing, and swimming in the river.
