Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R500 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Please note that the host resides on the premises.
Guests are requested to keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM, as a courtesy to neighbours.
No parties, large gatherings, or events are allowed on the property.
Day visitors (maximum 6 people) are permitted. Visitors should call your mobile on arrival so you can meet them at the remote gate. There is also a bell on the right side of the main gate. Please remember that this is a peaceful residential area.
The swimming pool is shared with the owner and is located outside her private lounge sliding door. Guests are kindly requested to:
Use the pool between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM;
Supervise children at all times (no safety net);
Avoid diving or jumping;
Use the pool seating area respectfully and leave it clean; and
Be mindful of the property’s pets.
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Guests may use the designated smoking area on the front porch.
No guest pets are allowed. Friendly cats and Lilly, the rescue dog, may be on the property.
Please ensure the cottage gate is securely closed using the provided hardware. Gates left unsecured can cause noise and potential damage.
Please inform your host in advance of any late arrival so arrangements can be made.
Additional services, such as ironing, extra cleaning, or laundry, are available on request at a small additional cost. Extra towels can be provided on request.
Bin collection day is Tuesday. Please place the black bin outside by 7:00 AM. Clear recycling bags are available upon request.
Secure parking is available inside the property behind the remote gate. Please park as far left as possible to allow the owner’s vehicle to exit on the right.
Please provide your arrival and departure times in advance. Early arrivals can store luggage while the unit is being prepared.
If anything is not satisfactory, please notify us immediately. We are always happy to assist.
