Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R3000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Housekeeping services are available at an extra cost. Any breakages or damages caused by guests' negligence that exceed breakage deposit will be charged to the guest's account. Breakage deposits will be refunded within 7 days after check-out. It is the guest's responsibility to provide us with their banking details for the refund. Parties, as well as loud noise and disturbances after 22:00, are prohibited. During the day, music is allowed for personal enjoyment only.

Guests are welcome to visit and enjoy the resort's facilities at their own expense. A game drive vehicle is available upon request with prior arrangement and an additional daily fee. This is subject to availability, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please keep rubbish in the lodge or bins provided, and it will be removed when housekeeping services are booked.

Please avoid moving furniture except for pool loungers and folding chairs to prevent damage to the deck. Ensure all crockery and cutlery are placed in the lodge retiring at night and before departing. Close all doors and windows when not residence. Before departure, close all and lock all doors.

Lodge must remain on the property and be secured in key safe, even during game drives.
Fires are permitted only in designated areas such as the braai and b.
Firewood for the boma and braai area can be pre-ordered for delivery at the lodge for an cost per bag.
No firewood is to be collected from the veld.
Beer bottles, caps, cigarette butts, and other discarded in the veld instead of the provided bins will incur a cleaning fee of R500.
Any damages resulting from non-compliance will be charged to guests directly. Some roads in the reserve are not paved, and it is recommended to use a vehicle with high clearance when possible. Please note that you be required to accept full terms and conditions provided by the establishment upon booking. Non-compliance with these rules may result in a fine at the host's discretion and/or eviction from Mabalingwe Nature Reserve.
