Description

Situated in Hogsback, Hogrock Falls offers comfortable accommodation in 3 cottages nestled in the forest. It is within easy reach of cascading waterfalls, with beautiful forest- and sunset views from the curved decks, which seem to float above the trees. A pathway from each cottage leads to several waterfalls and wild-forested walks.

Silver Birch cottage offers open-plan, loft-style living, and is decorated with original paintings by the artist who designed the cottage. Soak in the restored Victorian bath as you gaze through the trees, and relax in the cosy lounge, centred around a wood-burning fireplace. The cottage can accommodate 4 guests, in 1 double bed and one king size bed; the beds are fitted with down duvets for those cold winter nights. The cottage also comprises a kitchen and guests have access to a portable braai area. Please note that no braaiing is allowed on the wooden deck.

Copper Aloe cottage is a hobbit-like cottage overlooking the forest. The lounge is centred around a woodburning fireplace and contains a single day bed with a view over the trees. The bathroom features a watering-can-styled shower, offering a unique experience, and the farm-style kitchenette is equipped for self-catering. The cottage can accommodate 2 to 4 guests in 1 queen-size bed and a single bed, with an extra person on the lounge if need be. Like Silver Birch, guests also have access to a portable braai area.

Hobbit Hollow is a magical cabin nestled in the Hogsback Forest close to private waterfalls. This unique cabin has a Living Roof just like a real Hobbit house. It has a double bed on the mezzanine floor and a quaint "underground" room for the guests who like adventure. All the windows have forest views and a short path leads to a stunning private waterfall. There is also s cosy fireplace for chilly nights and a unique "waterfall" shower.

The cottages are close enough to each other to allow for flow between them, and they are big enough to congregate together as a large group. Watch the sunset from the curved deck above the canopy of trees while enjoying a braai or a sundowner, and listen to sounds of the nearby waterfalls. Explore the pathways, and discover the secret waterfalls. Hogrock Falls is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families, and is a place where guests can enjoy the beauty of the area.
