Description

Ikibiki is a self-catering unit that is situated in the town of Beaufort West, the oldest and largest town in the Great Karoo region.

The unit has a battery system that will keep the lights and TV on during load shedding.

The unit can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. The third bedroom contains a queen-size bed. There are also electric blankets and extra blankets.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 4 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DStv channels. The lounge also has a fireplace for the cold winter evenings.

There is a security camera on the front patio that faces the gate for vehicles that have to park out front.

The unit opens up onto an undercover verandah. The verandah overlooks the enclosed garden which has an outdoor picnic table, braai facilities and a play area for children with a jungle gym and trampoline.

Beaufort West attractions include Beaufort West Museum, Christian Barnard Museum, donkey cart tours, and the Karoo Nuweveld 4x4 Trail. Bergplaats Game Reserve is located nearby and offers game viewing, horse-back safaris, and mountain bike trails.
