Little patch of heaven in Dullstroom. Can't wait to go back! Jocks Cottages was such a lovely stay! The host and farm owners are so warm and welcoming! We had cute little welcome chocolates as well as fresh drinking water and garden-picked flowers. To beat the cold, we had a fully stocked fireplace each day, an electric blanket, thick feather duvet, extra blankets AND a fan heater just in case! We had our room refreshed and cleaned daily as well as the braai area. The kitchenette is fully stocked with every kitchen item you might need, with an additional gas bottle if you want to make a traditional camping breakfast. Jocks Cottages is the perfect blend of going out of town to enjoy peace and quiet - while being only 5 minutes away from Naledi Drive in Dullstroom! We had the privilege of driving the road with a bakkie, but other guests braved the road daily with smaller cars like a Suzuki Swift without any issues! There is access to Jansen Dam to enjoy fly fishing or nice sundowners and a picnic just over the hill. It can be accessed by car or a lovely 30-minute hike through the farmscapes and scenic hills. This place was worth every penny. We are already planning our next trip to Jocks in July. Jocks Cottages is a little patch of heaven, a true hidden gem! It felt like we were in another country; it was such a pleasant experience.
