Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R3000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

The house has an inverter for load shedding and provides basics, including Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Heavy appliances (e.g., hairdryers, microwaves) are not supported. Gas stove top and rechargeable lights are available.

Maximum occupancy: 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. An additional 2 guests can be accommodated on pull-out beds in the Twin Bedroom at R500 per person per night, subject to prior request and pre-payment.

Children: All ages welcome. No child safety barriers or gates; small children must be supervised at all times. Bring your own camp cot. A high chair is available on request at no extra charge.

Accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

Linen & Towels: Linen, bath, and beach/swimming towels are provided. Please do not use bath towels as beach/swimming towels.

Pets: Allowed by prior arrangement only. Maximum 2 pets. Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture. Guests must supervise pets and clean up after them. Bring your own dog beds, blankets, and bowls.

Smoking: Not allowed indoors. Use ashtrays provided; do not discard cigarettes on patios, gardens, or down toilets.

Noise & Conduct: No parties or events. Quiet hours from 22:00. Unruly or noisy behaviour may result in eviction without refund. Please respect neighbours and the residential setting.

Housekeeping & Cleaning: Housekeeping is optional and available at additional cost; please request in advance. A cleaning surcharge may apply if the property is left untidy or check-out is late.

Self-catering: Guests must provide their own consumables.

Electricity: R250/day included. Any additional usage is payable by guests via prepaid meter.

Safety & Local Info: Safe swimming beach in Wilderness, 5–10 minutes’ drive. The newly built house (2025) may obstruct some sea views.

Payment & Deposits:

Final rental, R1500 post-departure cleaning fee, and R3000 refundable breakage deposit must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival. International guests pay the breakage deposit in cash on arrival; local residents via EFT.

Late check-in after 18:00: R250 cash.
