As we host guests from all walks of life, we have set out some ground rules to ensure that everyone has the best possible time when staying with us. While urge you to feel comfortable and to treat our house as your own during your stay. We absolutely love our unit, thoughtfully created for our guests – and we hope you will too! Please treat it as your own and leave it as you found it. That way, every guest can continue to enjoy it just as much.
HOUSEKEEPING
As our houses are self-catering, housekeeping is not included in your booking - you are responsible for cleaning up after yourself. However, if you are staying with us for a week or longer, we will wash and replace your linen once a week free of charge.
Housekeeping can be requested for an additional charge.
NOISE DISTURBANCES
Please remember that this is a residential zone. As such, please keep noise levels at a decent level out of respect for the neighbors around you.
Please keep the noise level down after 22h00.
VISITORS
You are more than welcome to invite guests; however, the number of individuals in the house is restricted to 6, and the individuals that are permitted to stay overnight is restricted to the amount specified in your booking.
PARKING
The property has a double garage for you to securely store two of your vehicles during your stay.
SECURITY
Please turn on the alarm when departing the premises.
Please be sure to close all windows/doors prior to leaving the premises to avoid interference with the alarm system.
Please activate the stay alarm at night.
Please only make fires in the designated fire areas.
WATER
As Namibia is in the middle of a desert, we urge you to conserve water wherever possible.
Here's how you can make a difference:
Completely close taps to prevent dripping.
Keep showers short and sweet, under 5 minutes if possible. Turn off the water in between rinse cycles.
Do not keep water running while brushing your teeth.
Avoid taking baths whenever possible.
Keep drinking water in the fridge. This will prevent you from leaving the tap running while waiting for the water to cool.
Only use the dishwasher/washing machine to wash full loads.
SMOKING
In accordance with Namibian law, all smoking indoors is strictly prohibited, and any individual who fails to comply will have a fine levied against them. Please refine all smoking to the terrace/garden.
DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES
Please be sure to report any breakages to us so that we can replace the item/s for the next guest.
No blankets, towels, or any other items may be removed from the property.
If there are any damages to the property or its contents, or if something goes missing, the individual responsible for the booking will be held liable.
GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
When the bin indoors is full, please remove the bag and dispose of it in the large black bin on the property.
Please clean up after yourself, trash, and dishes. We work hard to maintain a hygienic space for all our guests, and any help from your side would be greatly appreciated.
PARTIES AND LARGE GATHERINGS
Whilst we do not want to discourage you from inviting guests, please refrain from hosting noisy get-togethers or parties of any nature. As our property is located in a residential area, we urge you to respect the neighbors and adhere to noise pollution restrictions by limiting excessive noise after 22h00.
