Lourie Lodge features 2 charming cottages, Coral Tree and Turaco, nestled in a serene oasis of indigenous Knysna forest. Located near the breathtaking Brenton Beach and Bay, the lodge offers a tranquil escape surrounded by nature. Spacious wooden decks invite you to unwind while overlooking a lush valley, a forest teeming with birdlife, and a naturally fed pond.
Coral Tree Cottage has 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin, and heated towel rails. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a queen-size bed and a single mattress on top with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet, and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, and toaster. The living area offers a world-class Charnwood wood-burning stove, comfortable seating, and an armchair, TV, Wi-Fi, and walks out onto a deck offering a built-in braai and dining table and chairs for 8.
Turaco Cottage is furnished with a queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, cutlery, crockery, utensils, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, and a breakfast counter. The unit offers comfortable chairs and walks out onto a deck with outdoor furniture and braai facilities.
In Brenton-on-Sea, visitors can immerse themselves in nature by exploring the Brenton Blue Butterfly Reserve, home to the rare and endangered Brenton Blue butterfly, or by hiking the scenic Circles in the Forest Trail.
