House Rules

Guest Responsibilities and Property Rules

Guests are financially responsible for any damage they or their party cause to Lodge property, furniture, or equipment.

Guests must follow all Lodge rules, including:

Food & Beverages: No outside food or drinks without prior approval. Food and beverages may only be consumed within fenced or designated areas to ensure guest safety and protect wildlife.

Noise & Music: Loud music, parties, and excessive noise are prohibited, especially in the evenings. Management may intervene or evict guests if necessary.

Wildlife: Feeding wild or domestic animals is strictly forbidden.

Indemnity and Liability

All guests must complete and sign the Lodge’s Indemnity and Liability Waiver Form prior to arrival. Entry is conditional upon receipt of this form.

The Lodge reserves the right to refuse entry, evict guests for non-compliance, inappropriate behaviour, or threats to others or the property.

Guests use the property and facilities at their own risk.

Limitations of Lodge Liability

The Lodge is not responsible for power outages, load shedding, force majeure events (e.g., weather, natural disasters, government regulations, network issues), or any related inconvenience.

No refunds or compensation will be provided in these cases.

Travel and Medical Insurance

Guests are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, lost/stolen belongings, and personal liability. The Lodge is not liable for expenses from lack of insurance.

Wi-Fi and Connectivity

Free Wi-Fi is provided in designated areas. Connectivity and speed cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location.

Guests should use Wi-Fi responsibly; streaming or large downloads may be restricted. No compensation will be provided for limited or unavailable connectivity.
