Great location & lovely home. We enjoyed our stay at Memories in Clarens. We were very comfortable, even in the chilly winter, and the location was perfect; easy walking distance to the main square with all the restaurants and shops. Our hosts made us feel very welcome.

The perfect spot for a perfect getaway. If you're looking for the perfect spot to spend a weekend exploring Clarens, I would definitely recommend Memories. It is situated just a short walk from the centre of town, but just out of the way enough to have some peace and quiet. The cottage is very welcoming and has everything you'd need and more. Beautiful views from the patio. Will definitely be back.

Lekker naweek in Clarens. Die huis het alles wat jy kan nodig kry. Die erf is baie groot met 'n pragtige uitsig. Loopafstand van al die winkels en eetplekke.

Adequate but not great. Convenient location, close to the square and nature reserve. Some beautiful antique furniture and quirky decorations, but the house shows its age and needs some work, e.g. front door, bedroom windows and shower fittings. Large stand but neglected and undeveloped garden. Not at the standard of a lot of other Clarens accommodation in the same price range.

Lekker gerus. Dit was nou lekker gewees. Lekker tyd saam familie gewees. Hou daarvan dat daar nie 'n TV was nie. Kids het dit geniet om sonder 'n toestel te wees.

Elsabé was 'n uitmuntende gasvrou. Elsabé was uiters bedagsaam en hulpvaardig.

Lovely restorative peaceful stay. The house is really charming, tasteful and it was a great experience staying there! The host is very attentive and friendly. Best of all is the location of the house, it is behind Bibliofile and about a block from the square - which makes it optimal to explore the town, or to quickly nip over to the bakery in the morning for fresh bread with breakfast. But also far enough from the bustle of the town to give peace and quiet.

The location was perfect. It was very nice and close to the shops and eating places.
