Description

Middeldam Farm House is a vintage farmhouse that is tastefully renovated and situated just outside of Bredasdorp. The charm of this 1929 family home lies in the Oregon floors and ceilings, all still in place, as are the old sash windows. It is ideal for a family or a romantic getaway.

This house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms are each furnished with a queen-size bed, while the third and fourth bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds. They share the use of 2 bathrooms, one fitted with a shower, and the other one with a bath. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities and features a built-in braai area. It is open-plan to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a TV with DStv. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

The house opens up to a patio with outdoor seating and an outdoor braai area and offers an enclosed lawn area for kids to play and run around on.

The farm is the perfect base from which to explore the De Hoop Nature Reserve, Elim wine route, Malgas, Arniston, Bredasdorp, and L'Agulhas. In addition, there are plenty of roads and routes in the area for beginner or advanced mountain bike enthusiasts.
