Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R3000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Breakage deposits will be refunded within 5-7 days after check-out. Guests are required to provide their details to facilitate the refund. Kindly refrain from inquiring about the status of the damage deposit before this timeframe.

Parties, noise, and disturbances after 22:00 are strictly prohibited. During the day, music should only be played at a personal level. Non-compliance results in guests being required to vacate the property and forfeit their reservation, with no entitlement to a refund or partial refund.

A game drive vehicle is available on request at an additional cost. It's advisable to pre-book to ensure availability. The rental fee is R1600 per day, which includes fuel.

Housekeeping is available on request at an additional fee of R280 per service.

Refuse should be disposed of in the bins provided, and will be removed when housekeeping services are arranged.

Furniture should not be moved, except for pool loungers and folding chairs, as this can damage the deck. Failure to comply may result in a deduction from your security deposit. Ensure all windows and doors are closed when the property is unoccupied to prevent baboons and monkeys from entering the property.

All windows and doors are to be secured and/or locked on departure.

Lodge keys are not allowed to be removed from the property and have to be locked in the key safe, even if you are going on a game drive in the event of an emergency.

Fire is only allowed in the designated areas: the braai and boma.

Firewood for the boma and braai area can be pre-ordered for delivery at the lodge at an additional cost per bag.
No firewood to be collected from the veld or the surrounding bush.

Beer bottles, caps, cigarette butts, and similar items discarded in the veld will incur an extra charge as this will be regarded as extraordinary cleaning. Guests are kindly requested to use the dustbins provided. As we are located in a Big 5 game reserve, we ask that all act considerately.

Any damages or violations of the rules resulting from non-compliance will be directly charged to the guests.

Some roads in the reserve are untarred, so it is advisable to use a vehicle with high ground clearance whenever possible. However, most of the roads leading to the lodge are tarred.
