Everything was good. Pool board - the pool - the rooms - the bathrooms were nice.
My stay was very nice. Definitely recommend to anyone. However, because the place is in a residential area, you have to be indoors at 11. The staff were very accommodating though; they let us stay and hang in the chill area (had to turn the music off) until 1am.
Very poor place. Slept badly because of my cold. Otherwise no problem with mattress.
I will never book this place again, even if it is free. The door lock/handle of the room is loose. No en-suite bathroom. The shower door does not slide shut; it is out of order. The window frames in the bathroom are missing paint. The receptionist could not find our reservation on the computer. After 10 minutes of struggling and after looking at the reservation on my phone, she finally found it. There was only 1 towel, no toilet paper. The place is rated 4 stars, but 0 stars would be more appropriate. When we tried to close the curtains, the entire curtain arrangement fell to the floor. We had to ask for toilet paper and an extra towel. The reception area is basically an ironing room/sleeping area for the receptionist as well. The place is in poor condition. The website management should visit the place and remove it from the reservation list. The only good point is the mattress, which looks like a good mattress. I have slept in places for less money that are in much better condition than this place. Guests were noisy in other rooms until early morning. The room was neat – the only neat room in the place. The guesthouse is in a bad/unsafe area of Cape Town and not suitable for guests.

Ek sal nooit weer die plek bespreek nie, al is dit ook gratis. Die kamer se deurslot/handvatsel is los. Geen en suite-badkamer nie. Die stort se deur kan nie toeskuif nie; dit is buite werking. Die badkamer se vensterrame kort verf. Die ontvangsdame kon nie ons bespreking op die rekenaar vind nie. Ná 10 minute se gesukkel en nadat sy die bespreking op my foon bekyk het, kon sy dit uiteindelik vind. Daar was net 1 handdoek, geen toiletpapier nie. Die plek is 4-ster gegradeer, maar 0 sterre sal meer van pas wees. Toe ons die gordyne wou toetrek, het die hele gordynreëling op die vloer geval. Ons moes vra vir toiletpapier en ’n ekstra handdoek. Die ontvangsarea is sommer ’n strykkamer/slaaparea vir die ontvangsdame ook. Die plek is in ’n swak toestand. Die bestuur van die webtuiste sal die plek moet besoek en dit van die besprekingslys verwyder. Die enigste goeie punt is die matras, wat na ’n goeie matras lyk. Ek het al in plekke geslaap vir minder geld wat in baie beter toestand is as dié plek. Gaste het tot vroegoggend geraas in ander kamers. Die kamer was netjies – die enigste netjiese vertrek in die plek. Die gastehuis is in ’n swak/onveilige area van Kaapstad en nie geskik vir gaste nie.
It was a pleasant stay and staff was very welcoming and friendly.
The place was what we expected and staff were very friendly and assisted in the best way.
