Nautilus is situated in the charming coastal town of Yzerfontein. Accommodation is provided in a studio apartment located on the owner's property which is only 50 m from the beachfront.

The studio apartment on the ground floor comprises a kitchenette, sleeping area, and an en-suite bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, a 2-plate stove and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The sleeping area is fitted with a double bed. The bathroom has a shower, a basin, and a toilet. There is also a flat-screen TV.

The coastal village boasts beautiful beaches, seasonal wildflowers, and renowned fishing opportunities. Dassen Island is located about 10 km offshore and offers abundant bird life, and photographic scenery. A variety of hiking trails are on offers, such as the Darling Stagger, Elandsfontein Private Reserve, Grotto Bay Coastal Nature Reserve, and Tienie Versveld Reserve.
