Peaceful, quiet, invigorating. Once settled in, we were greeted by the lovely host, and she informed us about everything and answered all our questions. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, comfy, and my favourite, the massive puffy poff on the porch. The stars at night are so amazing. Enjoyed sitting by the river, and if you explore the hill above the cottages, you will be pleasantly surprised by the view! Definitely booking another stay real soon.

Photos not accurate as per website. The stay was okay because the view from the southern cottage is not what you see on the website. There is no river view, only bush and shrubs. The other two cottages have a river view. If you book, request the northern or western cottage; the southern cottage is not worth the ride.

Such a special experience and excellent service from Bronwyn. We had a truly peaceful and relaxing stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Our cottages were perfect for our family, the river swims were so refreshing and we would recommend the Veld Walk, such amazing views!
