Beautiful cottages - ideal for an escape. A perfect place to escape reality and enjoy beautiful views and a peaceful surrounding. Loved every moment - will be back. Cottages well equipped and comfortable. Bronwyn is a delightful and attentive hostess.

Baie lekker wegbreekplek in 'n mooi omgewing. Goed toegeruste huisie met 'n mooi uitsig op die Gamkarivier. Lekker staproetes. Baie mooi omgewing.

Peaceful, quiet, invigorating. Once settled in, we were greeted by the lovely host, and she informed us about everything and answered all our questions. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, comfy, and my favourite, the massive puffy poff on the porch. The stars at night are so amazing. Enjoyed sitting by the river, and if you explore the hill above the cottages, you will be pleasantly surprised by the view! Definitely booking another stay real soon.

Quiet, restful, inspiring. Lovely cottage, on a beautiful farm. Lots to do, but also a perfect place to do very little. Thank you for having us, and we look forward to returning.

Photos not accurate as per website. The stay was okay because the view from the southern cottage is not what you see on the website. There is no river view, only bush and shrubs. The other two cottages have a river view. If you book, request the northern or western cottage; the southern cottage is not worth the ride.

River View Cottages

I really believe that the view from the Southern River View Cottage of the garden, veld, surrounding mountains and of the river (which you can see) is absolutely incredible.

Such a special experience and excellent service from Bronwyn. We had a truly peaceful and relaxing stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Our cottages were perfect for our family, the river swims were so refreshing and we would recommend the Veld Walk, such amazing views!
