Horrible stay, would totally recommend against it. Pathetic place. Rather pay more. Would not recommend the place at all and should not be on the website at all. It gives the website a bad name. Have been renting on the website for ages and have never stayed at such a bad place. Crockery is a relic / jumble of years past. Cutlery is minimal and there are no knives for food preparation. The supposed "double bed" is two single beds pushed together. Shower door is falling apart, I was too scared to touch it – not usable at all and keeps falling off. Bath cabinet is falling apart. The bathroom ceiling is pitch black with mould and has not seen a coat of paint in many years. Stair railing is rotten and rusty, too scared to lean against it. The "bench" in the lounge area is covered with plastic – not ideal for Natal's climate at all. The only positive aspect is that the aircon works well. Communal braai's are right at the Captains Cabin and the "Chatsworth" guests from the main unit/house took over completely – drinking, making music and partying until after midnight. The swimming pool was also taken over by them all weekend, with booze bottles lying around the pool and loud music for everyone to listen to. All this while the "caretaker" lives right by the pool and everything happened in plain sight, without any action.

Really enjoyed the private beach and pool. Frik and Rienie are very sociable. Had a great time, would book there again anytime. The pool was always pretty clean. Frik and Rienie had been very friendly.
