Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R2600 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

No loud music or noise is allowed (including fireworks, etc.) at any time.
No smoking is allowed inside the house. Kindly keep the smoking to the outside.
No burning of candles is allowed inside the house. A lighted candle is an open flame, and a potential fire hazard if not carefully monitored.
When leaving the house unoccupied and upon departure, please lock the door, close the windows, switch off the air-conditioning and set the alarm. The owners will not be held responsible for any theft or loss of valuables.
Please make sure all inside and outside lights are switched off when leaving the property.
Please take refuse bags to the dumpsite in Olifant Street. (Located near the Marloth Shopping Centre)
No littering.
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
Please close all windows and doors when leaving as there are baboons and monkeys.
Please do not leave any open fire unattended and please extinguish it before going to bed or when leaving the premises.
All geysers work with gas.
There is a gas stove.
The use of the swimming pool and outdoor area is completely at own risk and all children must always be supervised by an adult. Water wastage due to splashing and diving as well as broken glass, food and any other objects left in the pool, will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
Outdoor surfaces are slippery when wet.
Fiddling with the swimming pool timer is not allowed and should guests be found guilty of this; they will be liable for the cost of repair.
Be cautious of hot surfaces when using the pizza oven and wood-burning oven at the pool.
Please use the pizza oven as instructed as overloading the oven with wood will result in damaging the interior. Do not exceed 250 degrees Celsius.
Use air-conditioning economically, for the good of the planet.
Please do not take any of the indoor furniture/bedding/blankets outside. If
removed and left outside, guests will forfeit the deposit.
Loss of keys/alarm remote: Please note that should these items be lost, guests will be liable for the replacement cost.
Any damage to the furniture or property, guests would be liable for.
Please leave the house as neat and tidy as you found it, if excessive cleaning is needed, it will be charged at a cost of R500 and will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
Guests are requested to let the owner know of any breakages.
Check-in is strictly between 14:00 and 20:00 and check-out is strictly at 10:00 to allow for cleaning. Check-out time will be indicated on the Key Collection Protocol form. Any late check-in or check-out must be communicated to the owner. Please confirm an arrival time with the owner.
Keys can be collected from the Office of Field Security. (Located at Marloth Shopping Centre)
No keys will be released without presenting confirmation of the booking.
Alarms are a priority. Please be patient and have the confirmation ready when collecting the keys.
Please advise the control room if guests make a mistake with the alarm.
Day of departure: Close all windows, make sure all the lights and air conditioning are switched off, close the house properly and activate the alarm again. Please use the house to such an extent as if it were your own home.
