There is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool table, small golf course - it was perfect! We enjoyed the house immensely – with the swimming pool, jacuzzi, pool table and even a small golf course, it was extremely entertaining. The rooms, which are located separately from the main living area, were an absolute winner for privacy. The spaces are spacious and well-equipped – we lacked for nothing. Tandiwa's friendliness and good manners made a genuine impression. He was always willing to help, without ever being intrusive. The location is ideal – close to shops and delicious breakfast farms. Ball of a time. Amazing stay, just a few things to consider: the gas stove had no gas bottles, we had loadshedding, please invest in a UPS. The pool wasn't cleaned properly; we found broken glass in the pool. The main concern is the balcony; it needs to be steady, please look into this. Other than that, this place is amazing. Perfect breakaway. Our stay at Soete Rus was lovely. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the house is very spacious - we were also surprised to see that the house has a jacuzzi, putt-putt area and a dart board. The neighbours are nice and friendly people and the house is central and close to the beach and shops. We are very happy with the housekeeper's attendance; he was very helpful and attentive. The owners were also very friendly and helpful when we required their assistance. We will definitely recommend Soete Rus to friends and family .

Beautiful home in a dodgy area. Beautiful big home which accommodated 16 of us comfortably. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. Bedtime on Friday night and one room was absolutely filthy. Sheets and pillows obviously not cleaned and even a condom wrapper under the pillow. Two rooms flooded when it rained. The live-in butler is more like an unwanted guest and is fairly dodgy himself. Although he helped an enormous amount to unpack and clean up all our mess it was rather uncomfortable having him hanging around all the time. Calls to the homeowner go unanswered.

We as owners personally slept there 2 days before your group came and there were no condoms used during that time. We also receive videos of every room in the house before each guest arrives. One of your guests, Maritha Wagner, also visited the house ahead of time to decorate the house for the 50th birthday party. Maritha sent me a personal message about how neat and clean the house is. We did notice that two of the rooms' sliding doors had a small leak in the rubber and with the big rainstorm in the Cape some water could get into the rooms. However, it did not spill over. It is currently being attended to. We are not sure what the charge against Tadiwa, the maid, is. His services are offered free of charge and has never made himself a nuisance to any guest.
