Somabula Natuurreservaat Outspan Ossewa Kamp is located on a game farm between Rayton and Cullinan, less than an hour’s drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg. It can accommodate up to 8 guests seeking a peaceful escape.

The camp features 4 charming ox wagons, each furnished with a double bed, a light, and a blanket, offering a nostalgic experience. The well-equipped communal lapa includes a shared kitchen with wash-up facilities, basic crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and a fridge-freezer. There’s also a 2-plate gas stove, a sitting area, and a dining table with chairs for 8. Nearby, guests can enjoy a braai area, while neat ablution facilities are located behind the lapa, fitted with a shower, a toilet and a basin. Please note that Eskom power and cellphone charging points are not available.

Guests will encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including giraffes, eland, blue wildebeest, nyalas, zebras, red hartebeest, blesbok, and more, all freely roaming the area. During their bushveld-style getaway, they will be greeted by birdsong and the early calls of jackals as dusk settles in.

Hiking, 4x4, and mountain biking trails are available. Guests are welcome to bring fishing gear, binoculars, hiking boots, bicycles, cameras, bird guides, a braai grid, and firelighters. This is truly a perfect getaway where guests can relax, connect, spend quality time together, and enjoy nature.
