House Rules

A standard key and breakage deposit is due before or at check-in. The amount depends on the length of stay and the standard of the apartment, and may be adjusted at the discretion of the owner or management.

The deposit is secured via a credit card through a secure link. This is a temporary hold on the funds, not a charge, and is released within 14 days after checkout if no claims are reported. There will be no actual deduction from your account, and therefore no credit transaction. On your bank statement, the hold will reflect as a reduced available balance. Once released, the hold will no longer appear, and your available balance will match your actual balance again.

If no credit card is available for the holding deposit, it must be paid via EFT and must clear in our account before arrival. In such cases, a bank confirmation letter will be required to process the refund.

If neither of the above options has been completed, a refundable cash or debit card payment must be made before check-in. A minimum processing fee of R150 will apply for refunds back to your account. No cash refunds will be permitted.

Deposits will be refunded within 14 days after checkout, provided everything is in order.

The purpose of the holding deposit is to cover any incidentals, including but not limited to: lost or broken keys, property damage, stained or badly soiled linen, excessive dirt, noise complaints, or any breach of house rules.

All guests are personally met for check-in, which is scheduled in hourly slots between 14:00 and 18:00 on a first-come, first-served basis. As multiple properties are managed and the team is not based on-site, accommodating specific times may not always be possible; however, every effort will be made to meet guest preferences. Please note that a late check-in fee is payable upon arrival for check-ins after 18:00, before keys are handed over.

The original credit card used for the booking, along with valid identification of the cardholder, must be presented at check-in.

Keys will not be handed over without the above.
