Quiet and safe! Stay at Jbay has everything you need for a stay and a base to explore the area. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I can recommend this accommodation.

Night spoiler. The place is very nicely laid out and neat. But I would NOT recommend the place at all for people who want to braai or just sit outside. We came back from Port Elizabeth last night and then braaied outside in front of the apartment at 20:40 (braai is allowed according to the rules of the website) and sat on two chairs under the awning. Then the apartment management came and said that our fire had to be out by 22:00, even though it was still an hour and twenty minutes before that time. Furthermore, we were informed that we were not allowed to sit on chairs outside under the apartment's awning, and were also not allowed to consume alcohol. This is unacceptable to me, because there was no music or noise — we sat outside in complete silence and peace and braaied. We enjoyed an alcoholic drink (I don't even know why he assumed we were drinking, because it was in glasses). All of these restrictions were not listed in the house rules; if they had been, we would not have booked the place. In conclusion: We will never stay at this place again.
