Description

Nestled in the heart of Wilderness Heights on the Garden Route, TAO Forest Campsites offer a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by an abundance of trees, these secluded campsites are a haven of peace and tranquillity, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts and anyone looking to disconnect and recharge.

This camp offers a choice of 2 completely private sites with a capacity of 6 guests each. The sites are designed for free-standing tents but unfortunately not for caravans or wagons. Camper vans and vans with roof tents can camp here.

Each site has its own ablution facilities which include a shower, washbasin and toilet. Additionally, there is an outdoor bath where guests can relax. A gas geyser provides hot water for both the showers and the outdoor bath. Each site has braai facilities, including a braai grill and a braai tong. A pile of wood and a pack of firelighters are provided. Each site is equipped with a 555W solar power system, which is sufficient for campers' lights, mobile phone chargers and a small camping fridge. No electric kettles or other electrical appliances are allowed.

For those wanting to explore the surrounding areas, the activities on offer include horse riding, bird watching, fishing, cycling as well as swimming. Guests are afforded secure parking behind a remote-controlled gate.
