Warm, charming, relaxing wine escape. What a truly wonderful stay with the Tempel Wines team! We were warmly welcomed by Tatjana and her beautiful Ridgebacks, instantly making us feel at home. From the ease of parking to being ushered into their cosy tasting and coffee room—complete with a roaring fire—it was hospitality at its best. Tom and Tatjana are the ultimate hosts: full of warmth, humour, and great conversation. Our room was beautifully put together, with luxurious bedding, a supremely comfortable bed, and an exceptional shower. We stayed in the Pool Room, which overlooks the serene pool area. On a sunny winter afternoon, we enjoyed a glass (or two) of Tempel’s outstanding wines—crafted by Tom himself—while soaking in the view. We can’t recommend staying here highly enough!

Relaxing and a beautiful location. The location is breathtaking and feels extremely tranquil between the mountains. The room was great and braai facilities were well equipped. However, the service was a bit disappointing and we felt rather unwelcome.
