Perfect family getaway for a quiet adventure. The perfect getaway if you want to experience tranquility and the Karoo in its full beauty and poignancy. The Fort at Tierkloof is neat, clean, and maintains the right mix between modern and rugged. The hot pool was the best. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed, from braai bowls (and all other braai facilities) to pots, plates, fridges, freezer (stocked with ice). Our children (6 and 8) also really enjoyed going for a walk on 2 of the 4 walking trails, and studying all the flowers, plants and bugs of the Karoo veld. Will definitely go back again.
