Fantastic weekend. Our stay was fantastic. We celebrated my daughter's birthday weekend with immediate family. The house was well equipped, neatly laid out and very homely. Paul provided us with instructional videos to aid us when we arrived, and these orientated us beautifully. The house is perched on a hill just off the main road. It's easy to find and very close to the beaches. We'll definitely stay there again.

Delightful. Very comfortable. The house made sense. Nice proximity to the beach with a view of the sea and mountain. Built so you are sheltered from the wind. A great time was had by all. Lovely indoor fireplace. Thanks for the wood.

We were disappointed. The so-called 4th bedroom is a sunroom and should not be advertised as a bedroom for 2 people. The photographs are dated, there is hardly any seaview view, and the lounge furniture is extremely uncomfortable and not in the same condition as seen on the page. The cleanliness of the house does not warrant the tariff charged. Ceiling fans were filthy, some surfaces were not only dusty, they were grimy, e. g. open shelves for glasses. Kitchen cupboards and drawers are not up to standard. The linen and towels were clean.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear your stay didn’t meet your expectations. Before your arrival, I provided a detailed floor plan and an information brochure that clearly outlined the property’s facilities. As mentioned, the house is cleaned prior to arrival but is not serviced daily, as it is a self-catering family home rather than a fully serviced luxury property. I also informed you about the neighbouring extensions affecting the pool’s sea view more than a month before your stay, sent updated photos, and gave you the option to cancel with a full refund. While the view over the pool is partially blocked, there are still beautiful sea views from the two west-facing bedrooms and the deck. Recent fires and construction in the area have caused dust and ash to blow around, especially in windy conditions when windows are left open. Despite this, many families have enjoyed their stays here, as reflected in past positive reviews. We encourage guests to report any issues or shortcomings while we can still assist with a solution. We were in contact daily, and no issues were reported. I regret that the property didn’t meet your expectations, but it seems this may be due to a misunderstanding of what was offered.

Uitstekende akkommodasie, skoon, goeie ligging, ongelooflike uitsig. Heerlik gewees. Huis goed ingerig met alles wat nodig is en nog meer. Baie dankie, dit was heerlik!
