Boonsteplaas Farmstay lies tucked away in the heart of Swartruggens, on a working farm where the rhythm of daily life is set by the land, the homestead, and the animals. It is a place where time slows, offering guests a peaceful retreat surrounded by the gentle pulse of nature.

2 thatched rondavels provide cosy accommodation, each furnished with a comfortable double bed and a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin.

A rustic outdoor kitchen invites guests to cook beneath the open sky, equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, gas stove, crockery, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Evenings can be spent around the braai or exploring the farm’s running and cycling trails.

Here, the silence speaks in whispers: the wind brushing through the grass, the distant call of jackals, the chatter of guinea fowls, the watchful kudu, the farm dogs, and cattle grazing in the fields.
